A book that shows how the Dutch water landscape changed over time.

Author and architect Ruben Sannen of studio Sannen & Jacobs studied the transformation of the Dutch water landscape. The results of his research are mirrored in this publication.

For the book, we decided to use solely two Pantone colours: a mud green, inspired by the colour of the water in The Netherlands, contrasted with a reflex blue for a fresh punch.

To instantly convey the book’s water theme, we gave the cover typography a layer of shinny varnish. To make it stand out even more, all three sides of the book are silkscreened in bright reflex blue.
