wesselink — from jeans to insulation material

Making sustainable insulation even easier with a well-arranged stylish website and tool.

Wesselink Isolatie is a company that applies biobased sound and thermal insulation in buildings. The company was founded by two brothers from the East of the Netherlands with a mission to do business sustainably.

They wanted to keep the original logo, a medlar flower, as much as possible. Historically, the flower has been a symbol of the area where they grew up, you can see it more often in old coats of arms and city flags. For the re-design of the logo we looked for a good contrast between soft lines and pointed corners.

To showcase all insulation options in an understandable way, we developed a coherent illustration style where we included various icons and infographics.

Their mission to be carbon negative as a company had to be communicated much more clearly on the website. The interactive illustrations serve as a signpost through the website to guide you to the right solution.

As an independent company, they also provide advice on the best insulation for each customer with the help of a material configurator.

With the current climate crisis and rising energy prices, insulating your home has become even more important. With the new website and identity, Wesselink shows that informing and being visible is very valuable.
